When breaking rules is the smart thing to do

Sometimes, breaking rules is the smart and sensible thing to do.

In my opinion, there are two kinds of rules. Good, useful regulations with utility that serve a vital purpose, and bad rules that have no real role other than attempting to micromanage other people, or trying to take away their power.
